New Year's Eve menu in Mayfair: the early sitting at Bocconcino, £180 per person.

On Thursday 31 December, Bocconcino Mayfair opens its early New Year's Eve sitting at 6pm. Head Chef Marco Corsica's four-course menu is £180 per person and begins with a glass of Champagne on arrival and a sharing plate for the table. Each guest then chooses one of four starters and one of four mains, and the meal closes with the New Year's dessert.

Truffle appears in five of the dishes, from black truffle over the Wagyu carpaccio to Alba white truffle on the four-cheese tortello, and Oscietra caviar finishes the Sicilian red prawn tagliolini. Live performances and a DJ play through dinner until 8:30pm. As the only sitting of the night open to under-18s, it is the New Year's Eve dinner for families.

The early New Year's Eve sitting at Bocconcino Mayfair begins at 6pm on 31 December.

Tables at the early sitting are held for two hours. Performers and a DJ play in the restaurant from the first glass, and at 8:30pm the lower ground floor opens for the party, which runs until 3am. The New Year's Eve programme sets out the whole night and the party, and the late sitting at 9pm has its own New Year's Eve menu at £250.

In 2026 the Luxury Lifestyle Awards placed Bocconcino Mayfair among the Top 100 Restaurants of the World. The same year the British Restaurant Awards named it Best Restaurant in London and gave Best Hospitality Team to the people who run the room, three years after the restaurant took Best Luxury Restaurant at the same awards. Sharing plate

Before the starters, the table shares three bites. A truffle arancino, the Sicilian fried rice ball, sits beside a crab roll and small tacos filled with beef tartare.

Starter

Four starters, one per guest. Wagyu carpaccio is dressed with black truffle and Parmigiano Reggiano. Crema di Zucca, a pumpkin cream, comes with a fried poached egg, wild mushrooms and more black truffle. Scallop and foie gras are served together as a panaché, and smoked burrata arrives with roasted figs, San Daniele prosciutto, pistachios and truffle honey.

Main course

Two pasta dishes, one meat and one fish. Tagliolini are tossed with a tartare of Sicilian red prawn and finished with Oscietra caviar. The four-cheese tortello carries Alba white truffle from Piedmont, the ingredient behind the autumn white truffle menu in Mayfair.

Scottish beef fillet is cooked alla Rossini, the classic named after the composer Gioachino Rossini, and served with Barolo sauce. Wild sea bass completes the choice, on braised leeks with beurre blanc and clams.

Dessert

Every guest finishes with Dolce di Fine Anno, the kitchen's dessert for the last night of the year.

Champagne and wine

The glass of Champagne on arrival is included in the £180 and cannot be exchanged for another drink. Further bottles and glasses come from the Mayfair wine list, which runs from Champagne and Italian sparkling to Barolo and Barbaresco, and are paid on the night. A Barolo from the list suits the beef Rossini, whose sauce is made with the same wine.

Children, dress code and dietary requirements

Under-18s are welcome at the early sitting only, and from 9:30pm the restaurant is over-18s. The dress code for the night is smart casual or black tie, and guests are invited to wear red.

Allergies and dietary requirements are best raised when booking and again with your server before ordering. Guests who do not eat meat or fish can ask the team about the pumpkin cream and the four-cheese tortello.

Bocconcino Mayfair is at 19 Berkeley Street, London W1J 8ED, four minutes on foot from Green Park station. Early sitting guests leave around 8pm, hours before the crowds gather by the river for the midnight fireworks.
