An Authentic Italian Tasting Menu Comes to Mayfair

Head Chef Marco Corsica’s culinary journey began long before stepping into his first professional kitchen at the age of 16. Heralding from the port district of Posillipo, Napoli, Marco was introduced to traditional Italian cooking at a very young age, learning to catch fish on a small row boat in the mornings with his Nonno, before stepping into the kitchen with his Nonna to master traditional techniques and recipes.

After culinary school and mastering his skills in Italy, Marco settled in London, climbing up through the ranks at some of the best-known names in dining, including Cecconi’s and Sartoria, but most famously, Marco worked closely under the wing of three-Michellin-star chef and restaurateur, Marco Pierre White.

Heading the kitchen since its opening in 2014, Marco has been intrinsic in building Bocconcino’s reputation for being the best authentic Italian restaurant in London. In 2022 we were delighted to introduce the Tasting Menu, showcasing Marco’s culinary favourites from his years of experience, all anchored in rich Italian heritage.
