Bocconcino will host a themed celebration in honour of the traditional Venetian Carnevale.
From Thursday 13th February until Wednesday 26th February, the restaurant will offer an exclusive set menu inspired by the festivities along with a unique Carnevale inspired cocktail. Carnevale is traditionally a period of transition, signifying the end of Winter and beginning of Spring where Italians indulge in a fortnight of feasting before Lent.
Priced at £65 per guest, the Carnevale set menu, created by head chef Marco Corsica, consists of six dishes including Ostriche e Prosecco (oysters and prosecco), Scampi Arrosto (roasted langoustine with chilli and garlic), Ravioli di Gamberi e Branzino con Tartufo Nero (ravioli of prawns and seabass with black truffle), Sgroppino (palate cleanser), Pesce Spada (swordfish and prawns) and Selezione di Dolci (selection of Italian sweets) for an authentically Italian meal. Guests enjoying the Carnevale set menu will also receive a luxurious Venetian inspired mask to take away ensuring guests can continue the Carnevale celebrations at home.
